Budaya Jivana Yasa exists to let people experience, learn, and live Javanese culture — and to make that culture a source of livelihood for the artists and communities who carry it.
Our mission
A bridge, not a stage set
We were born in Yogyakarta — the beating heart of Javanese arts — out of a simple conviction: that culture is not a performance to be watched, but a way of living to be shared.
We connect international audiences and the Javanese diaspora with authentic practice, and we make sure the artists and families who hold this tradition prosper from sharing it.

Rooted in Yogyakarta
Yogyakarta is Java's cultural capital — home to the kraton, to living courts of dance and music, and to generations of artists. Working from here means everything we offer is close to the source. You'll find us at The Jayan Building, Jalan Affandi No. 4, Sleman.
