Javanese culture · Yogyakarta

Preserving Culture. Living Wisdom. Creating Prosperity.

Experience, learn, and live Javanese culture — not just observe it. A bridge between Indonesia, the world, and the Javanese diaspora.

Budaya · Jivana · Yasa

We help people preserve culture, live its wisdom, and create prosperity — carrying Javanese tradition from Yogyakarta to the world, and home again to the diaspora.

Budaya Jivana Yasa is not a tour operator. We open the door to living Javanese culture — through immersion, education, performance, and partnership — and make sure the artists who carry it prosper from sharing it.

In their words

I came expecting a workshop and left feeling I had been let into a family. The dance was only the beginning — it was the way of seeing that stayed with me.

As someone with Javanese roots born in Europe, this was the bridge I didn't know how to build myself. I finally understood where my grandmother's gestures came from.
